This site is an overview of the Davis Dyslexia Correction® Programs, and the services I provide in Ottawa at OVERCOMING DYSLEXIA. Also, in some ways this is an introduction to the book The Gift of Dyslexia by Ronald D. Davis.

The Davis Programs give someone a new skill set that works with their dyslexia so they can understand and master it, do well with academic school work and have confidence in their own special gifts. Ron Davis believes that dyslexia, ADD or ADHD is a compound of simple problems which can be dealt with step-by-step.

I sometimes get asked, "Why did you become a facilitator?"

When I was searching for help for my daughter who had been diagnosed as ADD and having a learning disability, I happened on the book The Gift of Dyslexia. It was the only thing I could find that explained why she was having trouble and how it could be overcome.
